Royal Caribbean unveils details of its first Royal Beach Club: Travel Weekly

Royal Caribbean International creates a two-story cabana with slide, world's largest poolside bar and private Bahamas-style destination for its first project royal beach club.

The 17-acre destination will be located in Nassau on the western end of Paradise Island. It is expected to open in December 2025 and will be an excursion option for guests on Royal Caribbean cruise ships when they call in Nassau.

Royal Caribbean on Friday unveiled details of Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, which will feature two beaches, three oceanfront grills serving local cuisine, more than 40 rental cabanas and artisan shops. Water taxi transportation to and from the beach club will be provided.

Much like a perfect day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s flagship private island in the Bahamas, Royal Beach Club will have three distinct areas. Each room has its own swimming pool and swim-up bar.

The family beach area will feature a zero-entry pool called The Shallow End. The area will offer beach games such as cornhole, cricket and a giant Jenga tumbling tower game.

Family Beach will also feature two-story ultimate family cabanas with slides, whirlpool tubs, private bathrooms and frozen beverage machines.

Royal Caribbean describes Party Bay as “unparalleled beachfront partying, featuring the world's largest pool bar” called the Floating Flamingo. The area will feature an infinity pool, a DJ playing music and a VIP area offering poolside service.

The Chill Beach area will feature a beach and swimming pool called The Deep End. Royal Caribbean said Chill Beach will be a place where guests can “immerse themselves in Caribbean culture, shop at local artisan shacks or sample different island flavors, from grilled shrimp skewers to fire truck churros.”

The Royal Beach Club at Paradise Island will be the cruise line's first beach club, with another expected to open in 2026 Located in Cozumel, Mexico. The third plan is Vanuatu Islands in the South Pacificalthough there is no opening date yet.

By 2027, Royal Caribbean plans to open a second Perfect Day destination near the Costa Maya cruise port, called A perfect day in Mexico.

Unlike Perfect Day destinations, entry to Royal Beach Club requires a ticket. Royal Caribbean said that starting in spring 2025, guests will be able to purchase all-inclusive day passes and cabins.
