Expert advice for 2022 travel planning

Expert advice for 2022 travel planning

I hope 2022 is off to a great start for you! I’m here to share some expert advice on 2022 travel plans.

Lessons Learned in 2021

Before I share my expert advice for 2022 travel plans, I want to first share some truths I learned in 2021 that are useful both in daily life and in travel around the world.

Always start with gratitude

When I look back on this crazy year, I am so grateful. For me, 2021 is a year of making memories with friends old and new. It’s been a year of both learning how to live in the “new normal” and getting back to some of my favorite activities like traveling, with good, bad, and sometimes downright uncomfortable experiences. In good times, bad, in health and in sickness, I am grateful for everything I have learned and experienced in 2021.

Happiness is a choice!

This pandemic has taught me a lot about life and inner happiness. I learned that when I focus on my intentions for a good life, everything works out better than when I worry about things in the world that are beyond my complete control. The same goes for when planning a trip!

What matters to me is that I continue to live my best life, spend quality time with family and friends, laugh with interesting people, make progress on my personal aspirations, be passionate about my job, and eat delicious food in new destinations Delicious food and start a new journey. Incredible adventures inspire me.

2021 has been a rollercoaster year for many, and I realize more than ever that these things are the only things that truly matter. Everything else is just stupid distractions that keep me from living my best life.

Experts offer tips for 2022 travel planning

As we enter the first chapter of 2022, returning to a luxury travel planning role as a seasoned pandemic travel influencer, I can say this with certainty:

Always start by setting positive intentions for your vacation:

Whether you're traveling, planning a staycation, or staying in your backyard, set happiness goals.

In life, change is the only guarantee. The world of travel is changing. Some changes are good and some are bad. I've found that choosing to see life through rose-tinted lenses and rolling with the constant changes in our crazy world allows me to stop worrying or getting angry about things I can't control, change, or influence.

Not worrying allows me to be present and make the best choices. This has also gotten me out of some crazy travel situations with amazing results!

Try to see the world around you through your child's eyes.

When you're out exploring, pay attention to what your children focus on. Children have an incredible way of observing things we take for granted and absorbing them to capture the sights and sounds of nature, big cities, or even just the fun of jumping in a puddle on a rainy day!

Make a year's plan to accommodate all your vacations

The holidays are salvation!

I firmly believe that we all need a new perspective from time to time, especially in these crazy pandemic times. It always pains me to hear so many friends and clients say how they ended the year without taking advantage of all their vacation time.

During the height of the pandemic, escaping the daily grind has been so freeing for my family and all of my clients, who have shared their stories of how escaping their daily routine has changed their lives. When I feel stuck, I find that a change of scenery can open me up to new possibilities.

Travel is good for the soul. The memories and stories we make while meeting new people and experiencing new places are life-changing. It doesn’t have to be fancy, you don’t even have to travel around the world. Just hop in your car and drive! All you have to do is drive for an hour in any direction to find some fun!

Give the ultimate gift of travel to your loved ones

Experience is the best gift!

This year, I’ve had so many clients turn to me for help planning epic vacation experiences as gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, honeymoons, bar mitzvahs, or even incredible VIP experiences at hotels Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The joy and memories these experiences bring are sure to last longer than any material gift.

Travel is back in a big way in 2021!

2021 is the year that my VIP clients and I pioneer the world of pandemic travel.

I'm obsessed with travel and luxury resorts are my absolute passion, so I'm really pursuing it in 2021 after I got a taste of what I'd been missing out on for most of 2020!

Here’s my review of all the incredible luxury resorts Destinations I explored in 2021:

For all the travel lovers out there looking for inspiration as they begin their travel planning in 2022, here’s my list of adventures for 2021 and I hope you see something that shares your name!
