Boris Shuster is also deeply entrenched at Universal Studios Florida itself. Visitors can visit the facade of his detective office during daylight hours in the park at any time of year. Reflections on Fear(2008)
In 1948, Boris Schuster retired from the New York Police Department and began a new career as a private detective. Unfortunately, this leads Boris to discover the city's strange weaknesses. He encounters the likes of ghouls and she-devils on his cases that can trouble even the most determined of investigators. However, his most impactful encounter occurred ten years later, when he met Dr. Mary Agana, also known as Bloody Mary of the Paranormal.
In the autumn of 1958, Boris hired freelance photographer Charlie Macpherson to assist with the divorce investigation. Shuster became worried after the photographer suddenly disappeared. Boris learns that Charlie is seeing a new therapist, Dr. Marie Agana, who specializes in treating fear and whose treatment is being questioned. The detective identifies himself as Dr. Agana's regular client and begins looking for evidence that she experimented on her patients, including Charlie. He also noticed that Agana was getting younger and younger, and that she started talking to the music box.
On the evening of August 27, Dr. Agana was murdered. Details of her death are unclear, but it was initially suspected Boris killed her after a brief struggle. Although he was arrested that night in connection with Marie's death, the charges were dropped after an ex-con who worked for her confessed. The strangest part of the case, however, wasn't the murder. Marie Agana's body disappeared during the investigation. It wasn't known until later, but the truth was that Agana's death would transform her into the powerful entity Bloody Mary.
Although Boris left as a free man, his experience still haunts him. He's had constant interactions with the paranormal since 1948, but everything that's happened since has drawn him into something bigger going on in the world. This led him to found Legendary Truths, a collective that works with researchers to investigate paranormal phenomena. 50 years later, Legend Truth will reexamine the Bloody Mary case and return to the crime scene. They will discover that Mary Agana has been transformed into a god-like being of unfathomable power, and that she has become a devoted follower of Adaru, the god of terror.
