The Ama Dablam and Mera Peak teams acclimatized in Thangnak on Sunday 20th October and performed well. Their trek passes through glaciers, snowfields, canyons and high-altitude landscapes, reaching altitudes of over 5,000 meters (16,404 feet). On Monday, the team will travel to Halle. The trek to Khare is famous for being a challenging and adventurous route to Mera Peak and the last village before ascending to the higher reaches of Mera Peak .
