American Airlines is expanding its 2024 winter Caribbean schedule to the Caribbean. The airline will enhance its short-haul international network with new routes and added service. With this expansion, American Airlines will become the U.S. airline with the most flights to the Caribbean.
Brian Znotins, American Airlines senior vice president of network and flight planning, is pleased to “continue to expand our network to the region, with more flights to the Caribbean and Latin America this winter than any other U.S. airline.”
Expanded winter flight schedule in the Caribbean
American Airlines will add seven new routes and one new destination to its network starting in November-December 2024. The airline will offer new and enhanced flights from Charlotte (CLT), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK) and Philadelphia (PHL).
- New York (JFK) to Bridgetown, Barbados (BGI): New daily service (starting November 2024)
- Philadelphia (PHL) to Bridgetown, Barbados (BGI): New Saturday exclusive service (starting in November 2024)
- Charlotte (CLT) to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVD): New Saturday exclusive service (starting in December 2024)
- Miami (MIA) to La Romana, Dominican Republic (LRM): New daily service (starting December 2024)
- New York (JFK) to St. Lucia (UVF): New Saturday exclusive service (starting in December 2024)
- New York (JFK) to St. Maarten (SXM): New Saturday exclusive service starts (starting in December 2024)
- New York (JFK) to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVD): New Saturday exclusive service (starting in December 2024)
Increase services on popular Caribbean routes
In addition to expanding its winter schedule in the Caribbean, American Airlines will also increase service on its popular routes:
- Charlotte (CLT) to Antigua and Barbuda (ANU): Increased to daily service (starting from December 2024)
- Chicago (ORD) to Nassau, Bahamas (NAS): Increased to daily service (starting from December 2024)
- Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) to Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands (GCM): Increased to daily service (starting from December 2024)
- Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) to Nassau, Bahamas (NAS): Increased to daily service (starting from December 2024)
- Los Angeles (LAX) to San Jose del Cabo (SJD): Increase to twice daily service (December 2024 to January 2025)
- Miami (MIA) to Bonaire (BON): Increased to daily service (starting from December 2025)
- Miami (MIA) to Ocho Rios, Jamaica (OCJ): Increased to daily service (starting from December 2024)
- Miami (MIA) to Tortola, British Virgin Islands (EIS): Peak day flights increased to 5 (starting from December 2024)
