P&O Cruises has launched dedicated family areas on five of its family-friendly ships for the summer holidays in 2023. A variety of new toys and activities are available for passengers on board the Arvia, Iona, Britannia, Azura and Ventura ships.
In partnership with Harding+, a range of new children’s brands will be available in retail stores at Arvia and Iona. These include Barbie dolls, Hot Wheels cars and Keycraft pocket money toys. These new brands will join existing family favourites on board including Lego, Jellycat and TY plush toys.
Families can capture more unique holiday memories on Arvia and Iona, capture ‘Instagrammable’ moments in life-sized Barbie boxes, or dress up as their favourite characters in fancy dress costumes from Rubies Masquerade UK.

Family areas are available on all five ships, offering families the opportunity to try out more artistic activities and hosting colouring competitions for children and adults.
On the newest ship, Arvia, families can enjoy a children’s wading pool, a tropical island-themed mini-golf course, a daring high ropes experience, and Mission Control, an immersive escape room experience aboard a fictional submarine.
P&O Cruises It has also teamed up with Aardman, the creators of Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep, to launch a series of character-based activities for all ages on its family-friendly ships. These include the first-ever Wallace and Gromit show at sea, All Hands on Deck! on Arvia, model and craft workshops and Aardman film screenings.
