Once you sign up for a card in the Dining Rewards program, the program tracks purchases you make with that card at participating restaurants. So, if you register multiple cards with Alaska Mileage Plan Dining, you will earn Alaska Miles when you make a qualifying purchase with any registered card. You can search for participating restaurants by name, cuisine type or location.

When you dine at a Mileage Plan Dining restaurant and pay with a linked card, you will typically receive an email notification from Miles Plan Dining. This email lets you know you’ve earned miles for your purchase and includes an invitation to submit a review.

Alaska Mileage Plan dining has three membership levels, earning 0.5 to 5 Alaska Miles for every $1 spent:

  • Basic members: Earn 1 mile for every $2 spent
  • Select member: Earn 3 miles for every $1 spent
  • VIP member: Earn 5 miles for every $1 spent

As a Select member, you will not only earn more Alaska miles, but you will also have the opportunity to earn bonus miles and receive advance notice of promotions.

Becoming a VIP member requires opting in to receive email notifications and completing 11 qualifying meals in a calendar year. You’ll earn 5 miles per dollar spent on your 12th meal and be eligible for rewards opportunities until the end of the next calendar year.
