4. Visit Queen Mary
1126 Queens, Long Beach, California 90802, map
Once a historic ocean liner, Queen Mary is now a hotel, museum and entertainment venue. Our Socal friends visit Queen Mary on every Halloween, their ghosts. One of our friends even stayed overnight and experienced some supernatural activities.
Each ticket includes a tour. Explore Art Deco design, learn about its history and join one of them (Ghost Journeys are the most popular). We took a trip to Hollywood because I don't like horrible things.
After that, you can wander around the free exhibition, check out the restaurant or Observation column (See their Happy Hour deals).
The ship is also hosted Year-round activities. Some are free (with RSVP) and usually include ship access.
Local tips: If you have a dining reservation, also include the entrance to Queen Mary!
Arrived here: If you visit the aquarium on the same day, take a water drain. This is a short trip across the water, and it's only $5 per person.
