4 Best Hotels in Singapore (Updated in 2025)

Singapore It's one of my favorite cities. Singapore is a well-known hawker stall that offers mouthwatering dishes (including some of the cheapest Michelin-starred meals), and is a bustling Southeast Asia.

But because it is a global economic hub, Singapore is expensive. In fact, it has always been one of the most expensive cities in the world! This means you will want to find affordable accommodation for your trip, so you won't go bankrupt.

Although there are many hotels here, there are actually only a few that are worth keeping. To help you plan your trip and save money, here is my list of the best hotels in Singapore:

1. Bohemian

This is a fun social backpacker hotel. The lobby and public areas are super bright and colorful, and the atmosphere of the hotel is very leisurely. It is also one of the cheapest products in town, so it is perfect for budget travelers who are happy with accommodation without worries. The beds in the standard dormitory are not super comfortable (the mattress is a little thin and there are no privacy curtains), but the pod-style dormitory offers more privacy (the beds also have curtains and separate lighting). Free breakfast is also available every morning.

Staff will organize events regularly so that it is easy to meet other travelers.

  • Free breakfast
  • Social atmosphere makes it easy to meet people

2. Dream Hotel

This is a quiet and comfortable hotel. This is not oversocial, so it is a great option for travelers who want to do their own thing. There are many cafes nearby and multiple MRT stations, so it's easy to get to the city from here. The public areas are bright and ventilated, and there is also AC power.

I especially love the pod beds that are comfortable and offer a lot of privacy. The mattress is nice and you gave two pillows (very rare in the hotel). All pods have their own lights and have lockers to store your stuff. The walls of the pods are thick so you won't wake up at night and people who come and go. If you want a quiet place to sleep, that's it.

3. Pods – Boutique Capsule Hotel

This is a more upscale pod hotel that feels like a hotel. It's not very social, but it's stylish, quiet, clean and within walking distance of many of the city's main attractions. The bed was comfortable with a thick mattress, private curtains, reading lights and sockets. The shower also has a lot of water pressure (a big advantage in my book). There are lockers in the dormitory, as well as free coffee and tea (and a bottle of water upon arrival).

A glance at the pod:

  • Free coffee and tea
  • Quiet hotel atmosphere
  • Thick mattress, so you'll sleep well

4. Atelier Hotel

This home-friendly hotel is located in Chinatown. It is also located above the cafe and has a delicious free breakfast every morning. I really like the pod beds here with nice mattresses and blackout curtains so you can sleep. Each bed also has lights and sockets. On top of that, this inn is just a short walk from the epic Maxwell Food Center. Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel is soft.
